Menus and Miles Sunday April 21st
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!
Happy Sunday!!!!! My DD#2 got a Beautiful wedding dress yesterday. She had been looking while I was on vacation but she wanted me to see the ONE before she bought it.
My scales are down to my norm again and since it's cool here all of my swelling is gone. We leave for Disney on Thursday so my body will be starting the process all over again, only this time when we come home surely it will be warm and snow flakes won't be coming down at the airport.

Hi Roz,
I've been wanting to get one of the Sonic Molten Cakes ever since they posted it on the sign. So this morning I thought I will go by after leaving church and get it and bring it home and share with DH. I looked it up on MyFitnessPal and needless to say I did NOT go to Sonic after church.... I'll just cook me something sweet and chocolate this afternoon with splenda and carbquik.

Good idea looking it up before you tasted it!!
I've got to make something with my carbquick. My cinnamon rolls didn't turn out very good either. I'm just not a baker I guess. They were very dry.
I'll have to check out the recipe you posted. I'm much better at cooking meals than baking.
Good Menu!

Keep trying them Roz. I made lots of batches that I did not like. It took me a while to get used to the taste and to be able to cook with it.
I made an Impossible Chocolate Creme Pie and a Cheesecake with the Carbquik today. DH liked both of course he had cool whip all over the top of both of them...
That Crockpot Philly Cheese Steak was delicious. One of the best things I've cooked in a long time. We love peppers and onions in anything.
Linda
I don't mind the taste at all. It's just that everything I've made has been so dry. I'm definitely going to try the Philly Steak but it will have to be when DH isn't going to be home because he hates peppers and onions. DD's and I always eat those kinds of things when the guys are on a hunting or something.
