This article is for the RNY patient - but I think everyone can find something in it to help them be/stay successful in their WLS journey.  I found it very informative - not just about the "rules" but explains where our bodies/pouches are at throughout the process.

very interesting, especially about the fluid loading.  I do feel fuller if I have just finished a drink.  Thanks, Jody.

Price - I've done the water loading when I was still in my honeymoon phase and AM sold on it.

Interesting article Jody.  Thanks for sharing.

I try to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour to drink after meals.  My NUT said 30 minutes was all that was necessary, but I have never wanted to chance it with less time.

I heard about the cottage cheese test, but have never tried it.

Linda - When I was newly post-op - it was 30 mins before and after.  Now in maintenance - I've heard much longer - to the 45- 1.5 hours.  I can definitely see how it would make a difference.
