Good morning. Poll--how many carb, protein and fat grams, and how many calories?
What are your goals per day for these, if you measure them. What is your activity level?
****
carb grams - under 70 to maintain and under 50 to lose
protein grams - 120 or more
fat grams - about double my carb grams
calories - don't count them but in MyFitnessPal somewhere in the 2000 neighborhood is normal
lately I have a sedentary lifestyle...{sigh}

Here is what I have been doing and working pretty well
Carbs I try to keep under 75 (don[t always succeeed)
protein 70 to 80 or more
fat I don't count
exercise ideal: 5 days a week gym for tradmill and eliptical for 32 min and alternate upper and lower weights, sometimes just walk
calories I am eating 900 to 1000
These don't match what many are doing, but as I said so far so good.
I have tried to come to a middle ground between what my nut wants me to do and low carbing.

Pretty much everyday I shoot for these amounts:
Protein - 100-110g
Fats- 90-100g
Carbs- 40-50g...sometimes 60 like yesterday I had some popcorn
Calories- 1500-1600 is typical, sometimes a little bit more/less
I just started adding exercise- 'power walking' 2 miles in 30 minutes..3x so far this week & am trying to get in 5 days.
Per NUT:
1200 cal (I'm usually 1100 or so)
60g Protein per NUT (currently experimenting with + 10-20g on workout days per me)
150g Carbs (Fewer on non-workout days per me)
40g Fat max
Sodium 2500 mg max (< 1300mg is best per NUT)
======================================
Circuit training with trainer 4x/week + cardio 3-4x/week. If it weren't for the $ I plopped down, I'd be sedentary too :)
I'm still losing 1-2 lbs/week.
I tend not to count any of it - BUT I DO watch the carbs closely. Right now, with working to lose regain, I'm staying as low-carb as I can and being very mindful of anything that has carbs in it and how it factors into my totals. So right now I'm trying to stay lower than 30 carbs/day. I also find that when I low carb, I'm not as hungry and eat only when I am.
Calories - no... protein - don't count but always eat protein first. I'm not worried about fat either. I'm now following your lead with cream in my coffee and splenda. Protein coffee has made it's way back into my daily routine.
Pretty sedentary too.. I'm just lazy... I have a treadmill in my family room just asking to be used....

I'm in serious losing (of the regain) mode. Per my NUT, I'm doing 100g of carbs, 75g of protein and 900-1000 calories each day. So far so good, I feel great and am losing steadily. Would like to increase my protein, but I'm not sure how with so few calories to work with. Willing to explore lower carbs but I have a hard time saying no to fruit in the summer.
Most weeks I work out 4x a week doing strength training.
RNY 8/27/09 SW: 250 LW: 170 CW: 175 On the right path again!!!
35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
While I am aware of them, the only one I really track to any great extent (an usually about once a month) is protein.
Aiming for 120+ grams of protein (before I started drinking protein coffees, I was at 70/80...protein coffees added another 60 to the day's total.
Fat...as long as I am not constipated and my skin isn't dry, I'm in good shape. I THINK it's about 120-150.
Carbs...okay, I count all carbs not net carbs so mine tend to run a bit higher...about 100-110 a day.
Calories...don't even bother. I do know that my app usually tells me I'm over.
Mostly sedentary but am also in the midst of packing/decluttering, and a bathroom renovation.

Happy Friday Gina!! I've missed your morning post.
I have been tracking on My Fitness Pal. I aim for 1200 calories or below, 50 total carbs, 40-50 fat grams, anything over 110 protein.
Activity - what's that.... I was doing good, but the last week has been none. Going to get back at it. My goal is to walk/jog 3 miles atleast 3-4 times a week and do strength training 2-3 days a week. I feel so much better when I get in my exercise.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I started mine today!
