Happy Valentines Day Menu Gang! I hope your day is filled with awesomeness! My hubby had two dozen beautiful multi colored roses waiting for me yesterday when I got home. He wanted to avoid today's line ups! Out for dinner last night with a friend was nice, but the restaurant was so expensive. I ended up with steak for dinner. It was good to catch up with her. Started the Couch to 5K program yesterday and it was doable. Better then when I did it a couple years ago 80 lbs heavier! Tonight I will go to the gym after work and then home for a quiet night.

Hello Menu Peeps! I had a great time at the Medieval Times show on Saturday night. If you haven't been its definitely worth going! Yesterday I had a mild workout at the gym and then an afternoon visit with my bro. Great steak on the BBQ for dinner. Weekend success! Back to the grind today and being smart with my choices. Today we are starting a Couch to 5K program (learn to run) at lunch. It goes M-W-F and we will be doing this at the track at the arena. Hopefully helps get that scale moving!
I'm going out to dinner with a friend tonight so I'm not sure what the menu is. I had a peak online and nothing really caught my eye.
So what I have planned is this:
B - 3 meatballs (Farmboy)
S - 2 slices deli turkey with mustard
L - tuna with light mayo
S - premier protein
Totals (so far) Cal 743 carbs 20, protein 92.
Have an awesome Monday (if that's possible)
Good morning Lightweights! This weekend was great, such a nice getaway. Hubby and I went to Myrtle Beach to spend some time with my aunt and uncle who were vacationing there. We live in Charleston so it was a short drive. Spending just one night away from home was so relaxing. No kids or grandkids, no laundry, no cooking or cleaning! Man, it really is all about the simple things, huh?
I did okay over the weekend, eating-wise. Got in plenty of exercise walking on the beach and shopping.
Today's menu:
Coffee: Regular coffee with creamer (40, 0)
Breakfast: Siggi-strawberry (100, 14)
Snack: Premier Protein, Chocolate (160, 30)
Lunch: Bunless burger (250, 21)
Snack: Deli ham, cheese stick (120, 15)
Dinner: Chicken breast (110, 22)
Protein Shakes:
Calories: 780 Protein: 102 Carbs: 22
Be well, friends!

I am avoiding the scale right now, as well, it's SOOOO hard!! LOL.
And nice protein, that's impressive!
I did an okay job following today's menu, I skipped the premier shake, but subbed for a click latte shake instead. Not quite as much protein, but I'll probably have half a premier before bed tonight.

Breakfast: Ham and cheese omelet (190, 15)
Snack: Premier Protein, Chocolate (160, 30)

Hubby just got home from work, dinner plans are changing. Pot roast is going on tomorrow's menu, and we're going out for mexican food. Fajitas for me, instead! YUMMO.

Hi Roz, hope everything is going well with your husband,
Good day to everyone else! I had a good workout with the Trainer last night, she didn't hurt me too much! Staying off the scale today (it's killing me LOL). Nothing planned for today, giving my body a break from the gym. Will try and make up my steps at lunch time, and doing the stairs multiple times at work. Three tenders closing today so will be a busy afternoon!
B - premier protein shake
S - greek yogurt, 1/2 cup Vector Granola
L - premier protein shake
S - 5 slices deli turkey with mustard
D - 4oz chicken breast with onions/peppers, cheese, sour cream (the last of it)
Total Cal 937, Carbs 47, protein 129
We'll see if this menu works, still working on the change up....fool the body!
Have a great day, some snow on the ground here and flurries in the air!
My lovely wife is here and says "hi".
We both have you and yours, especially your hubby in our prayers and hope the surgery goes well.
Next thursday I too have surgery to fuse and remove bone spurs from my back.
But lets get your fellow thru this first!
Take care friend....
Swinging lizards for you guys, Roz.
