I had the DS whi*****ludes the VSG so the revision is just the next step. I have had great success and chose the DS after talking to ALL the groups in the area. DS people just had better stories and seemed very happy. They did open me up stem to stern and got a good look inside so Dr, Anthone gave me a custom job that seems to make others shake their heads. but being 7 yrs out almost, I feel confident in my decisions and care. Once my weight was off at goal I found I have a 20 pound range that when at the high end I just try to get back to basics. I would go to the different group sessions and hear what they say. Although I respect those here I find that face to face contact gets you the real story and that you get an honest reflection and not a in your face lecture or tirade.

Positive thoughts coming your way Roz, for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery for your husband!
Hello Menu Gang. Well the scale is a fickle beeyotch, and yes I (probably) am scale obsessed. I see all the positive changes in myself, I can see my bones and muscles, wearing size 8 pants and medium tops but damn you scale! Damn you! So because what I have been doing isn't netting any positive results, I'm switching it up a bit. Jacked my calories up to 1379 yesterday, 147 protein. Will have a higher calorie day today and then drop down to "normal" for a couple of days. Need to stay off the scale for a few days because the daily fluctuations are driving me crazy,
Anyhow, my body is aching today, thank you Monday workout, and I have a session with the "torturer" again tonight! I CAN DO IT!
Eats today are:
B - 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese
S - 4 slices deli turkey with pickle chips
L - chicken with onions/peppers, cheese, sour cream
S - 30 gr old cheddar with 4 triscuits (pre-workout snack)
S - premier protein (post work out recovery)
D - chicken cordon swiss with maybe a bit of Caesar salad (salad not in totals yet, may forgo)
Totals - Cal 1107, Carbs 43, Protein 115
Happy Hump Day! Weekend is just around the corner.
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning Lightweights!!!!! Well it's 4:00am and I'm up eating Honey Nut Cheerios out of the box. I've been up since 2am. DH is having his neck and arm operated on this morning and I can't sleep from Praying and worrying. Those 2 words shouldn't go together but I'm struggling with that. He's had so many heart attacks and health problems I get sick every time he has to have another procedure done.
Sorry I haven't posted the last few days. I had to do a weeks work of Bookkeeping in 1 days so I could be off the next couple of days.
No main meals planned. I'll have to wait and see how the day goes.

We're in the same situation. I was un-banded mostly due to acid reflux. I'm a light weight as well and want the sleeve rather than RNY b/c of my weight. I'm afraid that if I'm sleeved, I will get that terrible acid reflux again. But I also have diabetes and I've heard that RNY is a better choice, but I'm afraid of losing too much and becoming vitamin deficient. I'm on iron and vitamin D already. Good Luck to you and keep us informed.

I'd say happy Friday but instead I say hmmmpff. I'm ready to throw in the towel. I have a good eating week low calorie, high protein, been to the gym twice, yesterday my calories in were 998, calories burnt 1694.....and today I'm up 1.7 lbs. WHY DO I BOTHER?
Please don't try to explain with it's water, because my scale tells me my water percentage and that isn't changing....nothing is, except my weight.....so frustrating.
Anyway, end rant, I know you've all been there. Doesn't probably help my mood that I've been up since 4:30. Today's plan:
B - 1 egg, 1 cheese slice
S - deli turkey, pickle chips
L - chili
S - premier protein
D - steak (mmmmmm)
Cal 890, carbs 43, protein 100.
