WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them! LW's!!!
Morning!!! Had to be up this morning before six to head to Pittsburgh for a cheer competition. DD had to be up at 5 to get my Granddaughter ready. Her hair takes forever to get it perfect. I'm soooo glad I am past that stage in my life.
The holidays are coming!!! Are You Ready???? Get yourself prepared for parties and extra treats....! I do much better during the holidays because I feel like people are watching to see what I put in my mouth. I'm not shy about sharing about my WLS. I usually end the holiday lower on the scale because I am soooo busy.

I did really well at the Open House. I got a small glass of wine and went outside where there was no food. I socialized there for a while then went in to see a few people. Had 3 small slices of cheese and called it quits. My hubby and I agreed we would only stay for an hour, so we left after that.
The weekend is here. Golf and watching the U of Wisconsin Game tomorrow.
Did well on my second day of not grazing.

Greek yogurt, seeds and nuts
leftover pork chop, zucchini
hot lemon tea protein 13g

I'm still going to be back and forth. Even with internet there, I still never seem to get on and check in here, just way to busy. This next trip will not include a competition so I am hoping there will be more down time.
I am probably 6 hrs from Louisville, lol. Nope, not close at all.

How did you do at the Open House?
Socializing SAVES me from myself when I go to functions like this. I try to be the last one to go through the line. The longer I hold off before eating the less time I have to go back for more bites.
