oh Roz, I just popped in to this forum to check in - haven't done that in a while - and noticed that you haven't started a menu post in a few days.
Then I read this one - I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that the funeral was as nice as it could be, that you were able to find comfort in seeing other loved ones and reminiscing about happier times.

Good Afternoon LWs. Sorry to hear about your cousin Roz, man you've been through a **** ton lately! What a nice spring day. LOL. I went to the gym this morning and switched it up. Did 16 kms on the recumbent bike in the same amount of time I would have taken to walk 5 kms. Might use the bike more often. My legs were a little rubbery when I was done but feeling better now.
Post Op 21 months TODAY! Surgiversary!!
B1 - 1/3 Carb Killa Protein Bar
B2 - ham and cheese omelet
S - greek yogurt and 2.5 oz blueberries
L - chicken Caesar salad, clementine
S - deli turkey (4 slices), cucmbers
D - tomato braised beef (from a caterer so I just picked one from MFP, stats I'm sure are off)
S - protein hot chocolate
Total Cal 1149, Carbs 61, Protein 110

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Afternoon LWs!!! My cousin passed away so I'll be heading to OH for the funeral this evening. She's fought a battle with cancer for a long time. Always so good natured and worried about others instead of herself.

Thanks Gina! I'm doing good but my sister is having a hard time. Mom pretty much left us a few years ago. I'm just so thankful we got to be with her when she passed. She didn't suffer at all. My cousin passed away at the beginning of the week. iI'm getting out of work early and we will be heading to OH this evening for the funeral.
Thanks for the Protein info. I will check it out! I don't think I've ever heard of that brand.

Getting into the groove at work, projects are slowly starting to come in. Having said that, not much to do today, sadly.

Afternoon LWs!!! I've spent the last 2 days writing thank you notes for flowers that were sent for my Mom's funeral on my lunch. I do appreciate all of the flowers, plants, chimes, etc. but what a chore! Fortunately 2 of my cousins new a lot of the addresses.
They raised the price of my Matrix Protein....ugh!!! I'm debating what I should do. I refuse to pay that kind of money so I guess I'm going to have to find something else I can enjoy every day.
