That's sweet of you to offer to cook for me.....
Looks like a pretty good Protein Day!! What kind of Salad dressing and toppings do you use? I bought some lettuce and was going to make a couple of salads for work but it just hasn't happened.

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Morning LW's!!! I know my menus are SUPER boring!! I am a person who does not like change and having the same things during the work week is super convenient. When I don't have to plan or cook then things go so much better with the number on the scale. For the evening meals and weekends I work around what DH wants and I make the best choices I can.

Lol! Rocks in his head on several counts, such as the small amount of weight loss, probably not enough stomach removed, and lack of post op support. He and the nutritionist have conflicting theories about post op diet plans. He suggested Atkins and she rolled her eyes and suggested moderation with a focus on protein.
I realize I didn't have a lot of weight to lose, but I was hoping for a BMI in a healthy range. I'm refocusing on the basics now, and I'm feeling a little difference, although I'm avoiding the scales!!!
Thanks for your response!
Glad to hear hubby is on the mend. So difficult dealing with the spine and pain.
Well let me know if you make it to the Cleveland area, would love to cook for you Roz!
Been trying to plan, so I can stay on track. This regain has got to go bye bye! and so do the refined carbs!
been to try to meal prep
cheese sticks
have hard boiled eggs in the frig
little sausage patties already cooked
when I made burgers, I had cooked extra chicken breast to cut up and measure into portions to go.
also prepped some salads to go and cut up some veggies.
Been cooking more due to both my parents having issues. Life is just getting overwhelming at the moment and dont want that to be the excuse to continue eating poorly.

Thanks for asking about DH. He's getting better every day. Had a few discs replaced in his neck and he has been getting injections around that area for pain and spasms.
I love the variety in your menu!!!!! I need someone to cook for me and maybe I'd have some variety...LOL.

Morning LW's!!! Sorry I've been missing in action the last few days. The weekends are tough finding time to get on my computer and yesterday DH had a Dr. appointment which took all day traveling etc. Other than DH having a ball game tonight my Menu didn't change.
