My best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery. I hope all goes well for you and that you have a speedy, problem free recovery. My husband and I BOTH had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in 2001 (in San Diego, CA. ) I had mine in June and have lost 110 lbs with about 30 more to go. My husband had his in Oct. 2001 and has lost 215 lbs and is at goal. We both have the greatest respect for all of the doctors at PB and the staff too. We had the best treatment from our surgeon, Dr. Rumsey. He is fantastic!!! We also had great treatment at Scripps/Mercy hosp. The staff there is well trained and they take good care of you. Good luck to you on your journey to the losing side!!

Pat, Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. May it be uneventful and your recovery quick and as painfree as possible. Just think, it really is going to be a whole "new" year. A happy, healthier, thinner one at that!
