Hi Leslie! I love your sight, it's awsome! Wish I could figure out how to do something nice for my page! I am nine weeks post op. today!! I have lost a total of 55lbs. I am feeling better everyday God has given me! I am about at 250lbs. know, I haven't seen that weight in over twenty years or so!! I eat regular foods now but the first three and a half weeks on a clear liquid diet I found very long! Than three more weeks all purreed foods and liquids! I find the calcium citrate awful chalky twice a day, I'm going to ask my surgeon in March when I see him if there is some other vitamin I could take in its place! Yak! But I do everything they say! The exercise is slow I am such a busy person, I need to try and make time! I'm getting loose all over, if you know what I mean! I researched ten months before my surgery, you can never have to much imformation on this major change in your life! The more you learn the better you will do. I was hoping to lose fifty pounds for Christmas but I am over now!! Praise God from whom all good things come! My husband took a three week leave of absence to help me and he was my angel before, then and now!! I thank God for him every moment of everyday! People such as co-workers, friends, and family can't get over how quickly I re-cooped and got on with my life after surgery, I tell them I am never alone, with God on my side I can't help but come out on top! My family is my world and God helps me to make sure all is well in their world! I am the middle child of four children and my older sister & brother are completely dissabled and I'm their guardian also a younger sister at home I help out! My husband and I had a Huge wedding Feb.10th, 2001, over 200 people in attendence at the church three days after a three foot snow storm and the Limo. never showed up to take me to church cause the thing got smash at the airport the night before our wedding! But I didn't let something like that dampin my day! Besides I got to ride in a brand new 2002 SUV , that wasn't to shabby! Oh I almost forgot my husband was supposedly a comfirmed bachelor but our Love and it is one of a kind! People seldom find this love! I was fortunate to have it happen to me twice in my life! My husband George, was killed in a tragic ice storm on the rode fourteen years earlier! Amazing how God works maricles in our lives! I had just told friends a month before Paul and I found each other I was happy with carring for my sister's and brother and I didn't need a man to make my life happy, all I needed was God above! Well he knew more then I did!! He still has his parents and nine brothers and sisters! Wow, my family sure has grown in almost two years! Know if God's willing I'd like a little Paul, well I'd name him after my father who I lost Dec.16th, 1991 and if God gives me a girl I'd name her after my mom I lost Dec.8th,1999! Mom's name was Cecile . Well listen to me I have talked your ears off and you haven't even had a chance to write me back. I'll let you go for know! Do write back, I love hearing from others! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you my age I will be 46 next month! So if it's in Gods great plans for a blessing of a child my clock is ticking but with all I have it's o.k. whatever his will, thy will be done! God Bless you my new found friend in the great circle of life!!Amen!
