Desiree, First that is my favorite niece's name (don't tell my other 3 nieces, OK?) so I have a very soft spot in my heart for her and for anyone with the same name. Hope you are doing better and are out of ICU. Hang in there. Everyone who's had the surgery keeps saying it does get better. I sure hope they're right. Take care.

****ANGEL UPDATE***** Desiree is still in ICU. I talked to her husband Jack and he said she is in a lot of "PAIN". She had surgery yesterday at noon and when she tried getting up to walk later in the day she felt something pull. They are keeping her another night in ICU. ***PLEASE*** take a moment to sign her surgery page and give her some love and support and some more love and support. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Her journey has just begun. Desiree you can do it. I'll try and stop by to see you. Hang in there. BIG, BIG SOFT HUGS !!

Desiree, , I am wishing you a successful, complication free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had done it several years ago. It really is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your new, healthier life.
