We both had open rny's in 2001. Mine (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS), was in Oct and I have lost 215 lbs. I started at 450!!!! My sweet wife, Nancy, had hers in June and has lost 110 lbs. Oh my gosh... all of you are wonderful. I appreciate all of the posts and emails. I definitely feel like part of the family now. Did you hear? My surgery is on Monday, September 29th... my surgeon's office phoned and said they had a cancellation. I am so excited... but a little scared. Talk about a quick process. I had my first consult with Dr. Naaman on 9/11 and surgery is on 9/29... wild huh? I haven't had time to eat all my favorite meals...lol Oh well... that's okay... to be honest, I can't think of a thing that I want. Isn't that weird? *BIG HUGS FROM HOUSTON... THIS FAMILY ROCKS* SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE EVERYONE. WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

Kim, you are a beautiful woman... I agree with teh guy from the uk.. as to how to get to know people from the board, just keep posting to the board, soon they will start responding more and more.. Just post your thoughts or make a comment about something you read on the board..sometimes you just want to read and soak it in and other times you want to share your thoughts and ideas... take care and if you want someone to talk to I am here and will be happy to be your friend.. heck someone that looks as good as you might rub off on me.. LOL

Kim, Congratulations on your approval! Keep us posted on your surgery date when you receive it tomorrow. Once you get the date, the time will fly by. Hope you are well!
