WOW is all I can say. If you had told me how great I would be feeling now and how much weight would be gone by now I never would of believed you. Yesterday was 5 months since my surgery. I am down over 100 lbs and feel amazing!!!!! Knock on wood I havent had any problems..other than if I eat to fast or eat one bit to many.  I can honestly say this was the best thing I could of ever done. I now look forward to getting my chest and tummy done next spring. Dont have a lot of loose skin but those two areas need some work. I go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I can fit into booths, rides at the park, and fit into a sit on a plane with no problem.

3/14/07   Well its been one month today since my surgery. I feel 100% better already. Im so glad I had this done. I went to the doctors today as well and Im down 30lbs since surgery morning. He says Im doing great and see no problems. 

I joined a gym last week and feel wonderful about going. I just cant believe how easy this has been for me. I go back to work next week. I have felt well enough to go back since one week out. There are just no words to state how good I feel and how glad I had this done.

7days post op and doing great. Had my visit with Linda(nutri) and Susan (nurse). They both said Im doing great. Dont over do it though since the insides are still healing.  Im down 13 1/2 pounds since surgery. 295.....so happy about that.

I came home last evening.  Had my surgery on the 14th. Once they got an IV in everything else went fine. Im not as much as I thought Id be. Dr. Gould and his staff did a wonderful job. I just have to be careful I dont over to it since I do feel so well. I will post again soon.

Ok I think I just need to write a book about this...lol. So Sue called me today and told me that they have moved my surgery date to Feb.14th....Im very happy about that. I hope this is it...dont think I can take any more on this...wow what a week!

So since the whole medicaid thing Sue told the lady who sets up the surgeries to take me out at the end of yesterday. So now I have a date of Feb26th. She told me that they filled my spot with a women who needs emergency surgery and is on meds to get her through till Monday. Im trying to think of the other women but please if its that much of an emergency then why are they waiting till Monday.....oh man nothing is easy.....

Well had my pre-op yesterday. Its really sinking in that the day is coming. They did seem surprised that Dr. Gould puts his people on a 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery. So that got me to wondering if that not the norm. My friend had the surgery 2 years ago in MA and she only had a 3 day liquid diet plus a bowel cleaning. SO I dont know...all I know is Im not really liking this part of it...11 more days...cant wait.

Monday 1/22/07 I started the liquid diet. 2 weeks till surgery. Im sure this will be the hard part....the 2 weeks after will be no problem. So far so good. Every time I want to really eat something I think of all Ive gone through to get to this point. That sets me straight. Today the hospital called and Im all reg. for the surgery and pre-op. I have my pre-op tomorrow. 

At this stage of the game Iam having mixed feeling about all this. I want this more than anything...really need this to have a healthy life. But on the other hand I have been really into the BBW life and my friends are already acting different towards me...guess I will see who my real friends are after the surgery. 

Iam sure the surgery will go well. Im in good heath other than being overweight. But I know this is major and I worry about my kids if anything were to happen. I guess all these feeling are normal. 

I had my appt today with the surgeon.  All went well.  He gave me another EKG and that was fine.  Said I will have another before the surgery in a few weeks.  As soon as they get the insurance approval I will get my date.  They said the surgery should be around this time next month.  I can only hope...lol.

12/7/2006- Ok so I know that most people are counting the time till their surgery...me on the other hand is just so happy that one more week til I see the Doctor....I will then get a surgery date. Anyone that has gone through the Dartmouth in Manchester knows how slow it goes. Im soooooooo happy. I feel like this is really going to happen.
