WOW!!!! One year post op today..:) I can't believe it. I got past my plateau to loose 3 more pounds..to turn around and get back on it again. Very frustrating right now. But I am also trying to get my business going so have been under a lot of stress. I think I need to get back to basics and back to counting protein. I have not been planning out my days like I used to..but I am still keeping my eating journal...trying to keep on track. Congrats to everyone else who hit a year today...it is our day to celebrate..:)

Wow...I am now almost a year out of surgery. Just less then a month off..:) I am at a frustrating time...in the middle of a plateau..that is lsting forever. I hit 100 pounds lost..but had been a pound to 2 pounds away for almost 4 months. My dietician and I are working on changing things and getting them jump started...we hope..I am exercising a lot an hoping that helps as well..to at least get the inches going again. I am hoping to spend some more time on here and maybe join in some of the chats. I finally found a support group here and am very happy..because I was in much need of it. I think that the one thing that can help me the best right now..is support from others that are here and have been here..;) Thanks to those who have sent me support in the past.
Oh I almost forgot...my big new thing that I have been doing...is finally getting my massage theraphy business going. I have gotten my strenght back up and am getting up and running..:) If you are ever in Indiana...let me know..:)

i am now almost 2 weeks post-op. It has been a frustrating week in that I cannot get around much. I have never had any surgery before...so the not being able to get around to well is hard on me. I am coping though...getting through it. I am not truly hungry at all..but do seem to "think" that i want things when I see them...trying to get past that...it is a lot easier since I am not hungry..then if I would be. Husband had to go to work tonight nd I am home alone..since my daughter is at a friends house. Still a bit hard since I am not getting around as well...counting the days til Tuesday and I can get my staples out. I should be able to move more then..thank goodness..:) I cannot wait to see my surgeon too and see how well I am doing.
Guess that is it on my update for now...maybe come back and update soon. Hurts to sit up with my laptop too long.

I got my surgery date a couple weeks ago..it was for Sept.9th. I was happy and upset...since my daughter is starting 1st grade in a new school on August 27. I was really hoping to have my surgery before then..so that we did not have to pull her out..since the Hospital is about 3 and a half hours from here. I called the Surgeons office back last week to make sure that I had everything correct..times etc. And I am glad that I did. the surgeon works out of 2 different Hospitals...and my insurance only covers one...and I was scheduled for the wrong one. I got a new date..and I was sooo happy. it is for August 11th.:) Plus now my daughter does not have to miss any school...thank goodness..:)

Drs office called today to tell me I was denied...due to not enough history. Need 18 months followed monthly by my PCP....guess 10 years tri monthly is not enough...go figure. I am meeting with my PCP..tomorrow..and sending an appeal letter in by end of next week. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
Arghhhh!!!
