My name is Anna but most of my friends call me Banana. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember but always pretty active. I love to spend time with family & friends, to me that is what life is all about. Living!!! As many of us know, Life is to short. Over the past few years my weight has really become an issue for me personally. I just do not like the skin I am in. I have seriously battled with the descision to have surgery for the past 5 years. My decision to finally have surgery was made for a few reasons. The biggest one is that I just want & need to get healthy. I have been pretty lucky in the fact that I do not have a lot of the illnesses that most people of my weight face but with that being said I am trying to avoid that. The truth is my family genes are something that I do need to worry about & I do not wish to help them out at all. With this surgery I feel that I have just added several more years to my life with my family & friends that mean the world to me.
