it will be 6 months tomorrow and i had my check up today unfortunately I may have an ulcer so thats not good at all. I have lost a total of 88 plus lbs. Dr, taylor sdaid i was doing good nut I am about 14 lbs behind but thats because I havent been to the gym in a while because I had surgery on Sept. 8th to repair my right shoulder rotator cuff and due to my injury and recovery I cant workout like I would usualy do. it is a little depressing but what can you do?

hello every one its almost 6 months and i am down to a size 18 in pants and 20 in tops and down 79lbs which I truely appreciate. sometimes it seems like a struggle and other times it seems so easy but I keep on my path and follow it like a well studie map. My 41st, birthday is in 6 days and I can't wait...

hello it's been 3 months since my surgery I had my 3 month check up yesterday and I have lost a total of 60lbs I would have liked it to be a little more but my doctor said I am doing fine.... he said about 10 more lbs and I would have been where he wanted me to be......I know its because I havent been to the gym for the last 3 weeks due to helping with a cousins wedding but I am going to be back on track starting tomorrow come hell or high water I will be back at the gym everyday. Other that I am feeling good upbeat and happy with me and thats all that truely matters

7 weeks out and I'm down almost 45 lbs at first i was wondering if it was the right choice but now I have no regret.....well maybe 1 which is I should have done this sooner. i feel awsome and every day I find myself with more and more energy. Now the hard part of this is my cloths fit on Tuesday and by Thursday they dont lol but thats ok I don't mind that one bit. More ppl have noticed the weightloss just by lookikng in my face, and for some reason now I am so much more aware of what others and myself eat.  and I am finally realizing that being over weight is a  desease  that some of us really have no control over. So far so good for me I haven't had any body reactions from anything I eat since I tend to eat my healthy foods and I dont want to test the waters with the suger so i read all food labels. so i think I am were I need to be and on that note talk to you all later.

Been a couple of weeks with no post or updates just been feeling a little down.... for the last week or so I havent lost a pound and this has me feelin a little down I really hope its only because I'm bloated due to my monthly but I was in the mind set that i was losing so good the first two weekw after surgery because I lost almost 30 lbs. that  the weight would continue to come off so well. But I know it's a process and it wont happen over night. I have also had two run ins with food getting stuck in my throat which makes me scared to eat so I'm still learning.  I will be glad when the scale reads 299 I'm stuck at 305 and have been for a week or so is this normal

They say no pain no gain...but in this case some pain and some lost I'm down 21 lbs since coming home on friday yay!!!! Me and that alone feels good...i have been dealing with the healing pain and discomfort tomorrow will be 1 week post op and I can tell the difference in me. I'm really trying to make sure to get my liquids in and my protein . now this gas on the other hand is another story i make sure to walk through out the day around my house but it (gas) just sits on my tummy.. I guess at this point I'm going to have to take something for it....well just dropping in for a short update hello friends

hello everyone well my surgery was a sucess no complication. I got home Friday evening my stay at the hospital was very nice and all the staff were wonderful..I am home and having trouble sleeping i have some pain but its getting better day by day.I went in weighing 324lbs after surgery i went uo to 331.8lbs im down to 319 lbs today so all the fluid from the iv has gone which is good. so now i just have to concentrate on healing and staying on the right track...so until next time ttyl

It's 4:43 am and I'm up and showered and on my way to the hospital a little nervous but ready to get started lol....hopeing I'm not in alot of pain afterwards.....but we will see ttyl friends

well it's now or never....the big day is tomorrow I have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am and in the operating roon at 7:10 am my nerves have been on egde all week , should I or shouldn"t I.  I have even found several reason why I should cancel but... thats not what I want nor is it an option..I have been over weight for over 25 years and it ends now. I am putting my foot down and taking a stand for  FELICIA (me) So I will see every one on the loser's benc

i'm laying here and I'm thinking about how next week this time I will have had my surgery, and I will be laying in the hospital hopefully painfree  but on the road to recovery and a healthier me. I know this journey will be new, long, challangeing but hopefully not hard I pray  to God for the strenght, he has already given me courage because if he hadn't I wouldn't be this far. So I know he is leading the way. I have the support of 5 very close people in my life...because I haven't told every one kinda my gift to me for my 41st, birthday in September. it will be a little funny to hear some of the stories that will come about due to me losing weight all of a sudden though lol.....you know how when people dont know something they come up with their own stories so that will be something i will keep you posted on what i hear lol. well the count down has began so until tomorrow sweet dreams friends.
