5 mos post op today
Apr 18, 2011
I was just 185 lbs yesterday....I have been toggling between 185 and a 186 pounds this past week. It was just pesty water weight. I was 185 on yesterday and this morning I am 182.8....can you say YAAAAY. I absolutely dislike those water weight moments, but I am back on track now. Feeling good and looking good.....What more can a girl ask for.

40 more pounds to my goal
Apr 07, 2011
I can hardly beleive that I have 40 more lbs to loose. It seems like yesterday when I was 251.50 lbs. The hard work is paying off. I am 4.5months post op. I go to see my surgeon next month. I wonder how much more weight I can loose by then. If I can get off another 10-12 lbs I would be happy with that. Oh well, we shall see. Wish me luck.

I love my Wii
Apr 04, 2011
I am so inlove with my Wii. For those of you who don't have one or never thought you would be interested in playing the Wii .....once you play it your hooked. I am hooked on Michael Jackson "The Experience" game and Just Dance 2. These two games are fun and a great cardio workout. I play them daily with my kids. At first I could do only 3 songs and I would be winded, but now I am up to 8 to 10 songs each time we play daily. And I beat my kids everytime...lol. Now they don't like to play with me as much...go figure..lol.You sweat like crazy. You are working your arms and legs. These games definately get the heart to pumping. So if you enjoy dancing and having fun the Wii is for you. Also Just Dance 2 has a Just Sweat catagory where you can track your calories burned based on the number of songs you perform. It is absolutely awesome!

I am apart of the team

Today I joined the Biggest Loser event at the gym at my job. The coach took my measurements and weighed me. She was like "wow" the last weight we had on you was 12/20/10 and you weighed 225lbs. And today you are 187 lbs that is great. I just snickered to myself and laughed. I stopped for a moment and basted in my own victory. I have come a long way and still got a long way to go. I am motivated and determined. I refuse to fail...I was blessed enough to receive this surgery ...so I am definately going to make sure I do everything I am suppose to do. It feels great to LOVE me again. For the first time in a long time (years) I feel pretty. I know that is probably a horrible thing to say but it is true. There is nothing attractive about being over weight and miserable. And miserable I was. Now I know how important self love is. Because after all if you don't love yourself...who will?

4 mos and 11days post op
Mar 30, 2011
The weight loss seems to be coming off a lot slower now. I am 188.4 lbs as of today. I am about a size 12. I can wear medium and large tops. I have lost weight all over; which I am glad of. People say I look smaller than I am which always brings a smile to my face. I am going to work harder and get the remaing 43.4 lbs off. It will be a challenge but I know that I can do it. I have so much energy it is unbelievable. I would do itall over again in a heartbeat. I go for my six month check up in May. I wonder what I will look like then. I have some new pics to post...so keep an eye out for them.
