Getting the hang of it

I think I am finally getting the hang of getting the protein and water in.  I was shocked that I actually got 91 g of protein in today - what a great feeling.  I was really starting to think I would never be able to get 64 g in.  The water is still a littler harder, but I am getting it.  I started (again) using my fitness pal today because unlike the one I was using, this one tracks my protein, fat, carbs, etc. - all the things I need to track.  I have to say I was surprised too that I only netted 567 calories for the entire day as I used to eat more than that in one meal (was 664, but I burned 97 in my .84 mi walk).  I'm only 2 1/2 weeks into this so hopefully this will keep getting easier.  I think one thing that helpded me is that I did WW for so many years that I am used to measuring and weighing (can eyeball most things) and used to tracking.  It's the exercise that I'll have to work on but I don't think .84 miles a day for right now is that bad considering I usually just sit on my butt and watch TV.  Today I went out with my daughter Emma (5 yrs old) and we got pedicures, and did a little bit of shopping.  It was kind of nice not watching so much TV.
