I am a 30 yr old woman who has battled her weight all her life. I am finally at a place to make some major changes. I've opted for RNY as a way to live the life I've wanted for so long. I don't expect it to be easy, but nothing worth having is.
I have 2 small children. One is a girl and the youngest is a boy. They are my world and I do everything for them right now. They are very active and I would love to keep up with them. I would love to take them on hikes and do a lot of things out doors. I really can't right now because of my size and my weight.
I also have a wonderful husband. He is being very suportive during this process. Right now he is deployed and he won't be able to make it home for my surgery. I can't wait to see him and show him the after picture of me.
We are an Army Family so we move a lot and I am new here at Fort Stewart. I am still looking for friends and people to talk to.
My surgery is scheduled for December 7th. I will have to be on a liquid diet during Thanksgiving and on the post op diet during Christmas but I know that if I can get though that then I can make it though anything.
