One Month Post Surgery, plus a few days

  I just wanted to give an update of how I'm doing.  I started back to work Sept 2 and worked for 3 days.  I had been having pain in my left lower lung when I took a breath.  Then I started having some SOB when I walked.   Back on FML and off work...I finally decided to call the Dr and see what they thought.  I had to come in and have a CAT scan of my chest and abdoman.  It showed Left lower lobe Pleural Effusion.  He decided to just monitor it and see if it goes away.   I had also woke up with pain in my left knee and could barely get around without limping.  I know I have put my knees thru alot of stress over the years.   After I bought a elastic knee brace, it didn't hurt as much to walk.    I also had an U/S of both my legs to make sure I didn't have a DVT ( clot in my leg).-it was normal.  Well, I am back to work and the pain is almost  gone in my lung and my knee.   I've lost a total of 40 lbs pre and post surgery.       I'm back to walking again and hope to join a GYM soon to start firming up and losing more...  I'm tolerating food very well, maybe too well.  I can eat about 1/2 cup without any problems..         ....Carol
