Hello everyone, well today is Sepember 16, 2009 my new birthday! I had surgery at 8 a.m. and did fantastic. I am not in a lot of pain and have been doing lots of walking in them halls of Clarian. The nurses keep telling me that I am their star patient. I told them that I gott great advice from all of my friends from ObesityHelp. They told me they were happy that I had such good friends to give me this advice and support. So far the experience has been great and the nurses are super kind. Well I am getting tired so I will go for now but wanted to let everyone know that I was doing good. O ya this hospital is super nice with a flat screen TV and Laptop equipped in your room. That is so awesome!!!

ONE MORE DAY!!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a fast message since I will be beginning my new life tomorrow. I have to be at Clarian at 6 a.m. for surgery to start at 8 a.m. Been on a liquid diet since yesterday and seem to be doing pretty good so far a little hungry but motivated to not think about it. I am very excited but a little nervous. I am also trying to make sure I have my boyfriend and kids taken care of while I am gone. Kids seem to be OK but can tell they are a little worried. I just keep reassuring them that everything will be OK and I will be home before they know it. I will post to let everyone know how things went and please wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. Thank you so much!
