hey oh family, just wanted 2 update u on my surgery. they were only able 2 perform a pannilectomy on me due 2 bloodloss and time, im glad that he didnt do the thighs right now anyway, i cant imagine all that pain. my surgery went well, my surgeon said he took 17lbs off my lower stomach(apron)! so that was a blessing to get rid of. he will perform my next surgery within 3-4 months from now. pain wise is not so bad so far,and im 5-days out, i am on percocet for pain and it works, i have 2 drains and they get removed monday(cant wait;) God bless each&everyone of u!

sorry i haven't updated in awhile but i have been getting ready for my skin removal surgery, which is on 4-12-10. it is not cosmetic, but i have 2 have skin and fat removed from my abdomen and thighs due 2 my skin disorder(hidradenitis), i am asking for your prayers for me&my family as i always keep you in mines. i will update soon as im able 2, much love 2 u all, and God Bless!! also i have lost a total of 249lbs since surgery!i am currently@ 270, a whole lot better than 519.

well, i decided i would update u on hw im doing, i posted a cpl pics a few weeks ago but i did not update my post.   i lost my father on 11/22/09 so i have been going through alot lately, but through the grace of God i will overcome like i have in the past, although it does take a long time to deal with it. i started this journey @519lbs and as of friday i am 299lbs thats a total loss of 220lbs in 11 months! thank the Lord! i have 2 go in tuesday 2 get my gallbldder tested 2 see if they need 2 remove it so i will keep u all posted. thanx everyone who has followed me on my journey! hey oh fam! its been a few months since i've updated, nt 2 much has been going on just waiting 2 undergo a few more surgeries. i am 9 1/2 months out and have lost a total of 190 lbs, thank God! i started this journey @519 and now i'm 329. i have never lost this much weight in my life! the Lord is good and i can say that w/pride!

i haven't posted in a while, so i decided 2 let my oh family know wsup. as of 6-30-09, i am down 152lbs! I thank God so much 4 that! I am dealing with other medical issues but i can @least deal with my weight now and i'm sure that will make things better in the long run! I am almost 6mnts out and i went from injecting 120 units of insulin a day, and now i take 12 units a day! my blood pressure meds went from 3 meds, and now i'm dwn to 1! So i have learned 2 be thankful 4 everything u go thru, good or bad, big or smalljust know that the end result tells it all!!    ttyl....

i'm just doing my 2wk check in and i went to my surgeon on monday and i lost 6 more lbs, thats 115lbs! im so happy to get rid of @ least one person on my body, lol now i have 2 more 2 go!:) i wont be postin every 2wks i will only do once a month unless something important comes up so i will post u next month oh family! thank you all 4 ur support and prayers!

hi oh family, just wanted 2 fill u in on how things r going, i weighed in yesterday and i lost 9 more lbs, that makes 109lbs total! i'm finally seeing a difference, but i have so far 2 go. i have an appt. with the bariatric dr. on may 5th so i will be posting again at that time. ttyl.

I'm back oh, with my 2 week check in;), i went to the doctor friday and recieved lab results from my primary doctor and everything looks fine, my nutrition was 3.7, and he said that was very good! i lost 22 more lbs, so i finally made the 100 lb. mark!!I know i still have a long way 2 go but hey, thats a start. i will be posting in a cpl weeks, and thank u all for ur support!

well,well,well boy how time flies, it seems crazy how the weeks past by! well, so far i am doing good, some good days some bad, but my good outweigh my bad, so i thank God 4 that! i lost 7 more lbs the last time i weighed in which was 11 days ago so that makes 78lbs total. at first i had it in my mind the weight would come off more quick, but this is real life not a movie,lol! the doctor says i'm right on track so all is well! i try 2 weigh in @ least every 2 weeks so i will post in 2 weeks.

it has been 8 weeks since my rny, and friday will be 2 months. i have lost 9lbs again so thats a total of 71lbs! everything is going well, i can't complain, just learning food all over again, like a newborn baby, lol.
