Hi Charlene, I do that too sometimes, I blame mine on GERD. It may be something else but like you said, its scarey as heck! It is not a pleasant experience to go thru. Hope you find out the reason and if you do, gimme a clue will ya please. Good luck to you. De

Charlene, It sounds as if you might have had a panic attack. They can come at night. It's your subconcious. You may mention it to your psych. I don't think it will hurt. Just make sure you're honest about why your want the surgery and that you're prepared for surgery and a lifestyle change. sending all my prayers and support! oxoxo Marcy
