I'm a 34 year old.  My highest weight was 310.  I'm just started my journey that is WLS.   I've always been a fat friend.  I remember having to shop in the adult section as a kid and get everything hemmed as nothing fit other wize.  Everyone in my immediate family is heavy.  My bro is the smallest of us and he's still over 200Lbs.  My life has been a constant round of deiting.  Some healthy traits have stuck and I've made good behavior changes but I never seem to beable to keep the weight off.

My weight in HS was about 175-180.  Ideally if I could get back to that I'd so Happy.  I'd even be content with 210 which is where I was in College.  But I think what is most important is just to feel like I have a life again.  Right now I'm so exhausted.  I have pain in almost all my joints and athritis in my back & feet that has me taking pain meds daily.  I've had to have my work responsiblity modified cause I wasn't able to do a portion of my job.  Heck I can't even stand up under my own steam for more than 10 mins before I casually find something to lean on.

I've recently been asked what brought on your 100+lb weight gain.  Its the same story as most people, bad realtionships, poor excersize habits, health issues, injuries, and a poor understand of my own body.  I'd love to say it was "X, Y, or Z" but it's really a combination of so many things.  Which is why I've very glad I've choosen the doctor I have.  Ther is a series of test that you need to go threw and some are quite eye opening.
