things are getting better

Jun 28, 2009

Well, now that I'm on soft solids, it is SO MUCH easier to get in my protein and cals.  I'm using tuna, chicken, salmon, and corned beef as my main protein staples.  Lots of protein, 0 carbs (unless I add light mayo to the tuna).  I also use melted mozzerella on my chicken adding another 8g of protein to my meal.  I am usually getting anywhere from 60-70+g of protein a day.  Trying to keep my carbs under 50, and getting anywhere from 550-700 cals a day.  Right now, the only thing I'm having a bit of trouble with is my water intake.  I'm getting anywhere from 32 oz to 48 oz of plain water and 16-32 oz of water with diet snapple singles-to-go.  I need to work on that.  I feel great, now I just need to get up the gumption to start exercising.  I'm being lazy about that.   As of today, I have lost one pound in the last 2 weeks.   I don't know if this means my stall is broken or my scale is just teasing me.
