I went to my last mandatory nutrition and support group today and it was really great. They talked about exercise and how to self motivate and how it is important to take baby steps. But what I love about these meetings is that most of the bariatric team is always there and they know who you are from day one. Kinda like cheers (" Where Everybody Knows your Name" LOL) anyway they always tell you to call them whenever and whereever for whatever. I really love that they make you feel like no matter what we are here for you. They actually help give me the confidence and motivation to go through this process. Trust me I was never a fan of support groups but now I can see me going even after the sugery.
