Talked with Amy this afternoon. She is at University Hospital in San Antonio - still in recovery room after surgery yesterday... It seems they have no room for her to go to.. She was in good spirits and said all went well. Hopefully will be discharged tomorrow.

Well Amy, tomorrow is the big day!!! I wanted to let you know that I too will be having my RNY tomorrow 8/27 and will be thinking of you as well. Let's keep in touch. ~Darla

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
