Hello Everyone, I am HOME..! I arrived home last night at or about 9:30pm. It is so great to be home..! Thank you all for your kind words and Justin, thanks for stopping by. Visitors do help for sure…! Apparently I had an issue that I have not ready before, bleeding. It kept me in there longer than expected. For details, checkout my profile..! I do feel I need to get in a discussion group quickly..! If any of you are aware of any out there I can attend soon, that would be GREAT..! I was never attached to food before but dang, everything around seems to reference it. Don’t worry, I have too much discipline to break the rules but this can be a pain..!

Absolutely the toughest stage is 4 - 5 days after the surgery. It gets better and better after that but the first few days I know are miserable. Just grit your teeth and say to yourself, "This will all be over soon and it will all be worth it." Not to toot my own horn, but I am a year out and have lost 140 pounds. All my health issues are gone, and I am so happy. You will be too before much longer. Paul

I went to go and see Lee this afternoon and he is doing really well!!! He was in very good spirits. He actually got his catheter out today after guarding it with his life...he was more fortunate than I was to have been advised to guard it from prying feet (lol :D) He has been up walking alot and is off oxygen. So far everything has been going good, his urine output is a little off so he is trying to step it up a little even though he has been consuming a lot of water. Overall he seems to have come through with flying colors!!! Lee is a survior and is now officially on the LOSING side with a big 'L' on his forehead (LOL)...Justin =)
