Another "Coming Out" for me on New Year's Eve!!!

Yeah, I had another one!  This time it was at my g-friends house.  She has an annual New Year's Eve party with about 20 people.  We go for a couple of hours because I like to be home at midnight.  Yeah, call me crazy but that is just me. 

Anyway, (and by the way this is the girl that was so anti-surgery) I walked in and sooo many people didn't recognize me.  Did I really change that much???  I feel like I look the same.  Her sister-in-law actually asked me "and you are?"  I have known this woman for about 5 years, she even came to my house once! 

Let me tell you though, it was a great feeling. I wonder how I made it out the front door (with my head so swollen)!  Nothing like a few (no let me correct myself, A LOT) of compliments to kick off the new year!!!! 

So, I can only go forward from here on out!  Onward, upward, but nooooooo gaining! 

Last year was such a wonderful trip.  2009 with be even better! 

Here are a few of my goals for 2009:

Retire.  Yeah, I did say that.  I know I'm not "at the retiring age" but my hubby said I can, we've talked about it, one of the docs said that I should (because of my previous cancer) and the stress isn't good for me at all. 

Go to New York City.  Really, REALLY talking about it with Breanna (my soon to be 17 year old) and my pseudo-sister-in-law.  All 3 of us will be going and doing all of the touristy things.  We will have sooooo much fun!  Believe it or not, already buying little things for the trip!  However, it will be probably the weekend of Thanksgiving.  Yeah, call me crazy AGAIN!

I'm GOING to get into that leather jacket!  Didn't this year because of the Italian ass that I have!  (you know, hips go with the ass!)

Getting back on track again.  Oh please I can't even type it because I don't want to see it in writing!

Exercise.  Yeah, can't believe I'm even saying this, have put off exercising for about a month.  I've been so very busy.  NOW I will get back on that "horse" or shall we say bike and ride Sally ride!!!  (from an old song)

Be happy more, laugh more, care more.  No explanation needed here.

Try to get into a medium pants.  Brings us back to the Italian Ass!!!
