"One thing I guess I should not do (and please take my advice if you haven't met Dr. O yet) is listen to others opinions of him. Sure at the seminar he is right to the point, doesn't want people to jump around with questions (just wait until he gets on the topic or ask when he is done), and tells it like it is. If you can't handle this, get someone else! When I had my one on one my appointment was at a certain time and I DIDN'T HE DIDN'T COME INTO THE ROOM UNTIL 2.5 HOURS LATER!!! I'm sure it wasn't his fault but come on office staff couldn't you have called me and told me he is running late? My husband took off from work and wasn't even able to meet him because he had to be back to work. You know office staff, other people do have lives PLUS in seminar we were told IF YOU ARE LATE FOR ANY OF YOUR APPOINTMENTS THEY WILL BE CANCELED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE THEM. Anyway, Dr. O and I were joking around. I didn't find to be stuffy. Also, when he came to see me in the hospital he was joking around again. I guess if you joke with him he will do the same. rnrnI think the office staff (dieticians, secretaries, etc) shouldn't threaten unless they are also perfect. rnrnI would rate Dr. O a 10 out of 10. Hey, no complaints about his capabilities when he is the TOPS!"
