JJ, You are an inspiration to me and to many others who fight the battle of obesity. You deserve this life saving surgery more than most and I know that you will come through this as a shining example of the wonders that this surgery can do. Well, it's a little over a week until J.J.'s surgery and I am starting the countdown NOW! My sweet Jude has battled to have this sugery for 7 years and it is finally her turn. Please say a prayer, send some energy, however you support people- to J.J and her family. I will report closer to the day for those of you who want to be updated. But as for right now, she is in the hospital, being weaned off all of her medications and getting physical therapy and breathing treatments in preparation for 02/10/04. Thanks, Shelly
