Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

Judy, sweetie, I am so excited for you!!! You have been so much more trying and patient than I would have been if I would have had to go through what you have. You are an inspiration to anyone who is trying or has ever tried to get this surgery. I think you are a wonderful person and you deserve this if anyone does. I know that you have posted on the Texas board that your afraid your surgery is going to have be pushed back to February (Uggggggg more patiently waiting), but I just wanted to let you know I love you, hon, and am so glad you are my friend. I will keep you and your surgical team in my prayers for an uneventful trip to the losing side and a quick recovery to begin your wonderful new journey. Lots of love and prayers, Donna F :-)
