almost a week....

Jan 17, 2010

well I had surgery and I survived I am now on the losing bench, my surgery took 4 1/2 hrs , I was told I picked the right surgeon no others would have been able to do it, of course my dr was so modest and acted like it was no big deal - so love Dimarco he is so careing.. when I came to recovery room I was  miserable in so much pain and just not feeling good at all, my surgery buddy from hear GOD love her was in the room next to me talking to me telling me I was going to be ok..I am so grateful for her. I was finally taken to my room to see my wonderful hubby- the morphin did not work for me but I was so blessed with a nurse that didnt quite until my pain was undercontrol so they switched me to something with a D: I call it my miracle drug cause it worked.. The hospital stay wasnt too bad, nurses were amazing- but that 1/4 cup of ice every 2 hrs sucked I was so thirsty ..  I was able to go home thursday - I could have stayed another day but they were taking my friend away so I didnt want too LOL ( the drug pump)
its almost been a week and I am feeling a lil better, my biggest prob is not knowing what exactly I'm feeling.. am I full is it pain from the surgery, or is my pouch full. am I not getting enough fluids... I guess its a learning game and I am hoping as time goes on it will get easier and I will be able to tell more..

My size I think def has made things harder, I so wish I could have done the surgery even 60 lbs ago.....
