day one post-op

so today was day one post-op. the pain was bareable. just really hurt when I got up and first began walking. but I did, I got up and walked a bit.Im a little frustrated with myself with the little that I was able to get down. I know for a fact I am not getting enough liquid into my body. I dont want to end up back in the hospital. especially not over something that i have control over.
I know part of itis habit-forming, the other part is forcing it down. However, I also am very scared of getting nauscious or vomiting. I dont do well with being sick, I am a big big big baby. So I am trying to avoid the sickness part as well .
Well tomorrow's another day. I'll try again.
Any suggesstions?
