Just spoke with Susan's DH. Things did not go as planned with her surgery. The surgeon was only able to partially complete the surgery due to her liver being enlarged. Susan will remain in the hospital for a week on liquids. They're hoping that this will bring the liver down in size so that they can go back in an complete the surgery. She has been diabetic for awhile and think they may have something to do with it. DH is naturally upset and worried, and Susan is devastated, he says. Dear Lord, please wrap your heavenly arms around Susan and her family at this most exciting yet difficult time, Amen.
