things I have learned about weight loss

hi, There are several things I have learned about weight loss that I overlooked and caused me to cause my weight loss to get stuck. the biggest is that not all food is created equally. How are body uses it makes all the difference. Sugar and corn fructose are both bad for us, corn fructose is the worst. It is hidden in all sorts of foods. spaghetti sauce. you think you are doing well using spaghetti squash instead of pasta but if you use jarred spaghetti sauce chances are you are adding corn fructose which screws up your insulin faster than sugar and you know how bad sugar is for us.  I kept getting the sweats basically dumping and couldnt figure out what the problem was but there it was hidden in all my processed foods, hidden sugar and corn fructose. You go to the fast food restraunt and get a small burger and take off the bun and think you are doing ok. Wrong again, some of the major fast food hamburger joints put wonderful corn fructose in their burgers to make kids crave them. See we become sugar addicts so we crave anything with corn fructose even if we dont know it is in there. Stay away from processed foods as much as you can. shop on the outside isles only and you will be a lot safer. It isnt hard to make your own sauce for your spaghetti squash, stay away from the premade. I have dropped 5 pounds since I realized this little tidbit with the help of a Dr. that is  a friend of mine. Dr. Haughn is no longer my physician he has moved on but he was the best.  He was the one that convinced me tht I needed my surgery and there was no shame in that. He wanted it more for me than I wanted it for myself at first. It took him almost two years to convince me. A gentle man that knows a lot about food and its effects. Stay strong people and dont quit trying. you only fail when you quit trying. Attitude and determination are everything.
