My recovery has been fairly easy, and the pain was nearly gone within 3 weeks, which is amazing...I just didn't want to lean forward for a month or more though, since my RNY area was still tender. But the diabetes (Type II) was gone in a week, and the blood pressure really is improving all the time. My ankles don't swell nearly like they used to, and my stomach girth is so much smaller, I'm down about 3 sizes in 3 months. It's extremely important to follow the protocol. Dr. Suh is a very skilled and caring doctor--one I would definitely trust to do a wonderful job. I'm glad I chose him.

"I am very happy with Dr. Suh's work. The surgery was well-explained, and the seminars were very helpful preoperatively. The surgery pain was definitely there, but the recovery was steady, albeit a little slow bec of my age (54). The energy level is increasing now that I am eating a little more.
