Best wishes, Kathryn, as you embark on this adventure. I was 343 pounds on January 6, 2003 when I entered the hospital. I am now at 230 and am very thankful!

Hello Kathyrn - I'm so sorry to hear your surgery was postponed. I know firsthand the amount of emotions we go through leading up to that day, then to have it delayed through no fault of your own has got to be difficult. I'm glad they were able to reschedule it again so soon. I look forward to reading all the wonderful and exciting changes that you will be blessed with as you begin to make your journey to the healthier and thinner side! This surgery is the first step of many that will lead you in the direction of your newly founded freedom. Embrace life, meet it head on, keep your head held high and a smile on your face. My prayers and best wishes are with you! <i>"To grow, you must be willing to let your present and future be totally <u>unlike</u> your past.
