I got home from the hospital on Thursday, 4 days in hosp.

It was not nearly as bad as I expected.

I ended up having the RNY, getting my gallbladder removed and they also found an umbilical hernia which they repaired.

I was up and walking the next day.

I passed the leak test so they started me on water the  next day.

I had to stay on oxygen the whole time but it was fine.

The  hospital was excellent, I had a private room, my ex stayed with me the first night and my mom visited everyday.

The pain was not to bad and it was a much easier experience than I expected.

I am home now and feeling ok, I was at the mall earlier today with my mom for a little while but I am tired now so I am going to take a nap.

I finally went to the bathroom for the first time today, lots of fun ha ha.

I lost about 22 lbs in the 2 weeks on the liquid diet before surgery, it will be interesting to see what I lost by the time I go to the dr next week.

I am having a hard time getting in all the protein each day cause I couldnt finish the shakes yesterday or today so I am going to try protein pudding which I got at Vitamin Shoppe today.
