The start of something great?

I took the first step in this journey to WLS by scheduling an appointment with my GP. I'll need his referral before going to a surgeon. I guess, when you think about it, that was my second step. The first step was signing up here for information on WLS and surgeons and reading all the feedback.
New Start Journey
1. Becoming a member, albeit shy, of OH.com
2. Appointment with GP on Monday, April 27 at 4:30pm.
In the meantime, I'm still surfing the internet and devouring all information. I'm also getting information from a few local physicians and finding out when their next "learning" seminar will be. After that, I hope to have more information on where I need to go and what I need to do.
A big step but I've realized, I've got to do something. I can't continue to live this way for the rest of my life.
