So it's been one week and 2 days since my surgery and I feel FANTASTIC! So far I have lost 15 pounds! I am doing great with my diet. I've been eating my 1/2 cup portions 3x per day along with lots of water/s.f. popsicles and a protein shake. I also have been trying bites of things...for example pizza at my sons b-day party. I REALLY wanted some, so I thought if I can at least taste it, or have 1 bite I'll be fine. So I took one small bite, chewed it like there's no tomorrow, and all was well. I satisfied my taste for pizza without over doing it! I can't wait until Thursday when I will be graduated to soft foods instead of just liquids and purees. Eggs sound good to me!Well, it's off to bed I go!!
