Home again....

On Tuesday, I got really sick....I just thought that I took my vitamins with my tea too fast, and was experiencing some nausea, dizziness and stomach pains.During my walk with Mia, everything became worse. I came home and called my surgeon (who wasn't in) and my PCP. Both of their nurses recommended that I go to the ER due to the symptoms I was having.
By the time I got to the ER, I was unable to deal with the pain. I had to undergo a CT scan, ultrasound, and x-rays, and my doctor said that he had to do emergency surgery. Results from the tests showed that my gallbladder and surrounding area was all messed up.
A colleague (Dr. Rahman) of my bariatriac surgeon (Dr. Sadhasivam--who was out of town) performed the surgery. All I am going to say is that Gallbladder surgery has to be one of the most painful surgery ever! My RNY was a walk in the part compared this!!
I came home this morning and doing okay. I hate taking pain killers, but have a bit of pain still. I am not able to work for at least a week due to surgery. Thank goodness that my boss is very understanding about the RNY and subsequent surgery!! I am hoping that this is the last surgery and the amount of problems I have will lessen, but still glad that I had my RNY.
