2 year Surgiversary

Aug 17, 2011

Time is flying....latest update I fluctuate between 164 - 170. I have fear of gaining weight, at times I am able to eat more and it scares the crap out of me. I need to focus on reaching my goal and maintaining the 160 mark. For the most part I am pleased with my results. I still have cravings during that special time salt and sweet...there is no cure for that. I still need to work on drinking all the water I am suppose to have daily.....I also need to keep a regular workout plan or just remember to keep walking daily.

My apologies for the late posting, but I have crazy busy living:)....Well it has been 1 year and 2 weeks since my surgery. My SW 268 CW 172 My Goal is 160, so I have about 12 more pounds to lose. Although I am not focus on the number I am feeling great.

Food Intake I try to stick to the rules - protein first and everything else later. I did notice that I am able to eat more at one sitting, I started 3 - 4 oz, that is upto 5-6 oz. I am comfortable with my weight, I would like to have a body lift. My boobs are gone:) not like I had much in the first place. I would like to transfer the fat from my thighs to my boobs, for some fullness.

I do drink wine on the weekends, I asked my dr was it ok, he said he was not going to answer that, so for I now I will enjoy my occassional glass of wine (Moscato)

I am still experiencing heartburn/acid reflux so I am taking Prilosec daily. I can live with that. I am very happy with my results

Post op week 11

Nov 02, 2009

I am still happy....I have met a major milestone that does not consist of numbers on the scale, wonder what could it be. Well I went to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio for the Halloween weekends, let me tell you for the last three or four years I have not been able to ride the major roller coasters bcuz my booty was to big. But Sunday I went and I was able to ride all the rides I wanted to ride. VICTORY I MADE IT!!! I am so overjoyed.....I love riding roller coaster the faster the bigger the better...I am a big kid(shrinking) Just before I got on each ride I got nervous because I remember being told "I am sorry you wont be able to ride" I was so hurt and embarassed...I never saw myself as really that big but the roller coaster was my guage when I could not ride anymore that was a pivot in my life. But this time no problem....so hang in there find your goal that will satisfy you the most, you can reach it.  So its been 11 weeks post op and my weight is hovering between 217 and 218, I think I am getting ready to start my cycle.....no matter what the scale says from now on I achieve one of my biggest goals in 11 weeks...cant beat that..Totally down now 50 pounds. I am so excited....

I am feeling wonderful, weight is shedding off. My starting weight was 268 today I am 220. Can you say wooo hooo .  I am not working out as much as I would like, I do a lot of walking at work and I go to the track on Sunday and walk a mile and 1/2. So far so good, no complaints. I have been getting tons of compliments just about daily. "Girl you looking, good!" "I cant stand you" or "You look so much younger" I will take them all my favorite is my clothes are too big!

I am looking to find a liquid iron and add some bananas and bake potatoes to my diet to get some natural potassium. I am still happy with my results, my clothes are so loose, I havent bought any new clothes but I know I am down at least one size. I had a wow moment I got into a pair of jeans that were a gift and I was never able to wear and the first time I put them on they were loose and I WORE A BELT:)

Week 6 post op

Sep 27, 2009

CW 229 woo hoo can't hardly believe it. It seems like the weight is just melting off.   This week I had caught something sore throat, so I took some 'Tylenol liquid and I haven't really been feeling all that great. My stomach seems to all fell full even when I haven't eaten anything, don't know what thats about. So I called my
Dr. he had come in to run so blood work, I guess I will hear something in a couple of days. I will keep you all posted.

WEEK 4 POST OP

Sep 20, 2009

Well this has been a crazy week, back to school, so I am posting a little late. I went to my 1 month post surgery doctor visit.. I  have incision that has not completely healed as of yet. I have graduated to protein bars....yay. The nutrionist said I am on the right track, because I am trying to get most of my protein from food. I finally found some Calcium Citrate Petites although I have to take 4 a day, but it is better than the gigantic ones. Last Monday was technically my week 4 so I will combine my result with this weeks total. I seem to have picked up heart burn again, so I am back taking prilosec, not sure what triggered but it is very uncomfortable.

I am setting a goal to keep my food journal going daily and walk at least 3 times a week.
