Well time is flying by, this 3rd week out. I made it through Labor day. I am aiming to get most of my protein from food instead of protein shake. I am drinking at least 24-32 oz of water. I did have a sharp pain that caused me to lay down on Sunday, I suppose it was gas cause it only lasted one day. For the most part I still have to remember to eat, learn to pack me a snack  when I am away from home for long periods of time. I did not walk as much as I would have like to I will work on that. I know it is required to be successful in this weightloss journey. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I was suppose to start taking the Calcium Citrate, OMG they are so huge,  I broke it in half and still could take it. I puked after trying to swallow the 2nd half. So if anybody can recommend where I can find a chewable one or  smaller one, that would be appreciated.

Okay its been 2 weeks, I cant hardly believe it. I am not sore anymore, no more pain meds yay. Food for thought - I have not had a real appetite, I have to remember to eat. This week was blender foods, I had Wendy's chili(did not sit well with me), Cream of chicken soup mixed with cream of potatoe(hmmm good tasted like a pot pie). After a couple of days of blended food I felt very full, heavy and constipated. I was miserable for a couple of days. But I was finally relieved, feeling much better. I even went to the meet and greet at Lucky Strike had a great time sipping on my water:) and listening to this great live band  playing 70s music that were jamming.

It seems like I waited so long for my surgery date and now it is 1 week post op already

My family & friends are saying they can see a difference in my face already!!! YEAH

The only trouble I have had since surgery is drinking plain water, I can't seem to drink a full 16oz water bottle in one day. I started walking yesterday outside, only down my block but it is better than nothing and it helps with the GAS...OMG that really hurts can't wait till that pain is gone gone gone. All is well so far, I go to the Dr on Thursday for my follow up and have my drain remove, I hear it hurts when it is removed. As for my incision they are not as sore, everyday gets a little easier. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I have not slept in my bed bcuz it is so uncomfortable right now. I found comfort sleeping in my lounge chair, hopefully by next week I will be back in my bed.

Tomorrow I will start the blender food diet.
 

Well this is it. I am so relaxed, I slept well for the first time in a long time. I am on my way to the hospital. Thank you for all the well wishes. The next time I post I will be on the LOSER BENCH.

Well it is my 2nd day doing liquids only. I went to the church picnic today....big mistake all my favorites....but I was good I drank my protein drink and stay focus on the long term goal. Just one more day then I will be heading to the hospital. I have to be there at 6:45am my surgery is at 8:15am. I am too excited I cant hardly believe all the months, weeks days, has turned into hours.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I have lost 11 pounds so far Pre-surgery, down to 255 now. I can see the end of the rainbow.

Well it is day 2 of the 1000 calorie diet.I have lost a total of five pounds in the last week. I am so excited it is actually almost here. Today is the last day for the eight pills a day to clear up the H-Pylori. The weird is thing is that I am getting sick when I take my multi vitamin(Women's One a Day), so I started taking two children's vitamin. I figured it must be the pills I am taking for the H-Pylori. Anyways everything is good so far.

Endoscopy results look good, small case of gastritis....one step closer to my surgery date....
 

I know its been a minute since I signed in, I went yesterday to get my surgery date August 17,2009. I am excited after meeting all the lovely people in DC I was convinced this is the right thing for me to do. I can not wait until I am on the losing end of this journey.
