hey there linda. i appreciate you posting your opinion on the real meals and if i find products that work for me i'll pass it along just like you did. it's a message board used to find info and use other peoples experiences and opinions to help us through this journey along with our docs and our own personal judgement. i think people forget that it's all opinion anyway...and if ya don't wanna do it you don't hafta but maybe others want to hear about it. and i did want to hear and thanks again. ;-) blssed be~

Hi Linda-- You are doing great!!! I'm so proud for you!! I am so encouraged by your story! I too am the exact same weight you were when you started. I'm 5' 7 1/2. So almost the same measurements as you! I'm always curious on these stories what their height is as they plays a major role in the outcome. Anyway, I seriously doubt I could reach your new weight as I am not a petite frame but just the inspiration is enough. I'm sched for my 1st consult on 1/8/03. I called my insurance and they stated they will cover the surgery but policy isn't active til 1/03. So..... We'll see how it goes! Wish me luck and I'd love to keep in touch with you through my journey! Thanks for the inspiration!!

hi linda :) you look so great!! i read your posts on here a lot and they are always informative.thank you.i am pre op..lap rny jan 16th ..i got cleared for surgery from the psych dr.today.yeah!!:) just 34 days and a wake up..geez that sounds nice to say.. i can't wait to join you and our other amos family members on the other side...wow!! 104 #'s in 6 months!! you are a real inspiration linda!!! i wish you the very best this holiday season..:) take care, jeanne/ca.

YOU LOOK MARVELOUS Linda, Congratulations on a successful weight loss journey. I am 5 months out down 80 lbs. I started at 270lbs I just hope that I get down to 160 lbs in the next few months. ATTA Girl. Give yourself a big pat on the back. ö¿~

Congratulations! What an inspiration. I am 4'11 and right at 200 lbs. I am waiting on insurance approval and have been worrying that maybe the surgery wouldn't work as well for me, I wouldn't lose as fast, etc. I loved reading your story and hope that I can do as well. You reminded us all that exercise can help that scale move down!

Linda, I saw your new picture....You LOOK AWESOME! Still Plugging along here, have been sick going on a week now, so, haven't been to the gym...Hoping when I do go back, the scale has moved some more!
