MommaAngel, you are missed. You gave me support, care and lots of love when I was getting ready to have my surgery 14 years ago. You called and emailed me the days after as I tried to adjust to my new life. Losing you was such a shock! But even now, when I'm feeling blue I know you're watching all of your little angelettes! I miss you Momma!

I first met MommaAngel through this message board around 2002. She truly was an angel and encouraged everyone. RIP..??

It's been almost 13 years since I've visited the site but I was shocked when iI decided to check on a few people that I met early iin my journey and discovered MommaAngel passed away . She greeted me when I stumbled upon this site and made me feel welcome ! I didn't know her personally but she made you feel as if you did know her personally. Heaven welcomed a "true angel " when she woke again in God's loving arms. RIP MommaAngel , we will meet one day and remember when you encouraged me ! Brenda /aka Cinnamongirl

I FIRST WANT TO SAY THAT WHEN I HAD MY SURGERY 10/8/2003 AFTER MY DATE WAS MOVED FROM 10/21/2003, IT WAS MOMMAANGEL WHO INFORMED EVERYONE ON THIS WEBSITE..I EVEN GOT TO TALK TO HER ON THE PHONE WHICH WE HAD A GREAT CHAT AND SHE TOLD ME ABOUT HER HEALTH ISSUES..IT BOTHERED ME A GREAT DEAL THAT SHE PASSED AWAY BEFORE GETTING A NEW CHANCE AT LIFE HERE ON EARTH BUT I KNOW SHE RECEIVED A NEW LIFE AND HER WINGS AS WELL AS A NEW BODY IN HEAVEN.I WILL NEVER FORGET HER AND I'M NO ONE ELSE WILL EITHER.R.I.P!!

This WLS has been a long journey for me. I remember when I first signed on in 2003 and I began conversing with Moma Angel and Sharon. I had been visiting the Duke WLS Center every year for info session. Once I made a decision to join I signed up on Duke WLS site. there site went down and I came back to OH just to let Moma Angel know I am back and am finally going to have the surgery. Well Moma I know you can't reply by email, but you were always so encouraging so I came to get some more words of encouragement. Since you are no longer with us I have read the others responses about you and once again you encouraged me. their comments about you were a blessing to me. I hope her family gets a chance to read this. She has really touched a lot of people . I remember she watched the site for who was new to signing on and she made sure she greeted them with a warm and friendly message as if t was a job requirement. Lisa

I very seldom come to the Obesityhelp site any more but just as I did and was looking at someone else's profile, there was a posting from Momma Angel wishing them well. I never personally met Momma Angel but I know that she was a wonderful, sweet person. She always left postings for everyone wishing them well and I'm sure everyone misses seeing that as much as I do. Even though I hardly ever come to this site anymore, every time I do it somehow always brings me back to Momma Angel's page. I will never forget her but I know that she is up in heaven watching over us and still wishing us well. Rest in peace, Momma Angel, we miss you!

I had no idea Momma Angel passed on. My deepest sympathy and prayers to her family and those she left behind. I remember her kinds words on my surgery page. She will be missed. God Bless and fly with the angels!
