Thanks for the welcome and encouragement. I just wanted to say that the Lord does take care of His own in more ways than we can imagine. I too have struggled for years with my weight and within the last year my health has been greatly affected. I am happy that He is helping you to control your eating. This is truly an answer to your prayers, because He knew that money was an object and He knew what was needed to get you on the road to recovery. He never stops watching over us. PTL

DEAR MOMMA ANGEL, YOU WERE THE FIRST PERSON TO E-MAIL ME, AFTER I FILLED OUT MY PROFILE. YOUR WORDS OF LOVE AND ENCOURAGEMENT HAVE HELPED ME SO MUCH. I READ YOUR PROFILE AN WAS AMAZED BY YOUR COURAGE AND STRENTH. I`M ON DISABILITY, AND I`M ON MEDICARE. I LIVE IN SUGAR LAND, TX. AND THEY FINALLY OFFERED A MEDICARE HMO, I WENT ON IT ON JUNE 1, AND NOW I`M SCHEDULED FOR SURGERY ON SEPT. 16TH. IT DOES COST $50.00 A MONTH, WHICH MY MOTHER PAYS FOR, BECAUSE I, LIKE YOU, DON`T HAVE THE FUNDS, FOR ANYTHING EXTRA, LIVING ON DISABILITY. IF I LIVED IN HOUSTON, IT WOULDN`T COST ANYTHING A MONTH. THE HOSPITAL WILL CHARGE ME A CO-PAY OF $75.00 A DAY FOR THE THREE DAYS I WILL BE IN THERE. THIS INSURANCE IS LIKE A MIRACLE FOR ME, AND MAYBE A MEDICARE HMO, CAM HELP YOU TOO. MY FAMILY IS ALL CHIPING IN WITH THE EXTRA MONEY FOR CO-PAYS, MAYBE YOUR FAMILY COULD DO THE SAME FOR YOU TOO. CALL MEDICARE AT THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE, AND THEY WILL TELL YOU, IF AN HMO IS AVAIABLE, IN YOUR AREA. I HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS YOU. I WILL PRAY THAT IT DOES. Momma Angel, my, that certainly is an appropriate name for you. Your profile is beautiful and you are truly and inspiration. The tears streamed my face as I read of your love, trust and faith in God and how you saw that food is not and never has been a comfort to you...it robbed you of your life. Momma, thanks for your kind words. Don't give up. I too have Medicare and knowing I was going to have surgery, I got a supplement too. Hopefully this will limit my out of pocket to only $1600. My doctor has already approved me and my insurance. I have been overweight my whole life like so many others and look forward to being on the losing side. I'll be waiting here for you too! :) God bless
