Momma Angel, I thank you for keeping us all informed of those who are about to have surgery and have empty pages that need to be filled with love and hope. What you give to others may seem like a small thing, but to those who would go threw this surgery without the love and support of others who have been there or are going there is truely a wounderful thing. Keep up the good work. I smile everytime I see your pic and words of encouragement to call others to fill a page. So now I add my post to the many who have added before me and the many who will add after me, and I wish you Gods Love and His many blessing for you.
Butterflys are a great symbol of WLS patients. Like the caterpillar, we move slowly. We are not particularly attractive - and most of us are a bit round. Soon, we enter the cocoon stage, where we hide from everyone and everything, and EAT and SLEEP. Then, when the time is right, we emerge from the cocoon, spread our wings, and when they are dry, we fly off, seeking summer flowers. I love the analogy, and can't think of a thing that is better. So, first the butterflies in your stomach, and in your thoughts - pretty soon, you will have them in your heart, and you will be so proud of yourself, and feeling darn good, too!" Best of luck. Don't forget to wiggle your new wings. :) May God Bless You and Yours.
