One week down

Woosh....one week down!  What an experience.  I haven't had the most difficult week but..... I definately should have rested more!  hard to do with 3 kids though.... Went to my post op Dr. appointment today.  I have horrible rashes that are blistering all around each incision site.  They are AWFUL.....they itch so dang bad...well come to find out its a reaction to the glue used on the steri-strips so.....those are gone and hopefully the rashes will soon clear up.  All week I haven't been feeling very good...not really feverish just not good.  Doctor says its probably caused by constipation.... TMI?  Hopefully the miloflax will not leave me in the bathroom all day
Over all I'm feeling OK.... My doctor is very strict on diet after surgery and I was required to have clear liquids only for the first week and clear liquids with protein drinks for the next 3 weeks.  Makes it really hard to cook dinner for the family when all I want to do is just have a taste....but....I'm going to stick with it...its only 3 weeks out of my life right?  I'm sure I'll be happy with the results!  I just hope I can choke down all those dang protein drinks!
