I am 48 years old, happily married and mother of twin girls. My girls are married and I have 6 grandbabies. Ages 9 yrs. thru 3 months. I also have a stepson and stepdaughter. I sing in a praise band at my church and enjoy scrapbooking. I am a chirstian and my faith is very important to me. I am also the queen of a Red Hatters group.Jesus Christ is my hero in life. Without Him, I would be nothing.
I hads my lap. RNY through NewStart of St. Louis, Missouri. My doctor is Dr. N. Richardson. I know several in my area who had him do their surgery and have only great things to say about him. I had no problems with my surgery and I am shrinking a little every day. I know longer take diabetic meds. and all my labs came back NORMAL! I follow my diet plan,get in all the protien and water I can. I take my daily vitimins, my monthly B-12 shot and exercize daily.
I am a certified OH Support Leader and I am one of two facilitaors for a central west county WLS Support group called the WLS Achievers. We meet on the first Monday of each month. If you would like to attend one of our group meetings, please send me a message. Our group promotes learning and encouraging one another through our weight loss surgery journey. All are welcome.
